Rimmel Provocalips in Make Your Move

Hi Everyone!!

Today I have yet another liquid lipstick to review. Yes I know these are everywhere right now. I love them so its ok. I will try as many as I can.

730 Make Your Move

This thing is pretty neat. One end is the lip color itself and the end with the lips is a lock and shine step. I've tried some products similar to this with the two steps but I was never a fan. This one is different.
From the moment you first put it on you know this is something extraordinary. The formula of the lip color is so creamy and glides on effortlessly. You can add multiple layers and it never feels sticky or thick. You can wear it like that or you can put on the sealer. When you apply the lock and shine it feels so weird. Not a bad weird but just different.
I wore this throughout the day and it wore beautifully. It never dried out my lips and it felt feather light. I got over 4 hours of wear without any problems. This is supposed to last 16hrs and be budge proof and kiss proof. I don't know about 16hr wear but I drank out of a cup with minimal transfer.
One last thing its a little hard to remove but the Rimmel website says use an oil based makeup remover which took it off easily.
Well Rimmel is on a roll with these new lip products. Bravo Rimmel!!

Have any of y'all tried these out yet? If so let me know what you think.

Thank you for reading and until next time!!

Physicians Formula Argan Wear Bronzer & Blush Review

Hi Everyone!!

So as I sit here wondering what to possibly write about these products I can't help but just stare at them. They are quite breathtakingly beautiful. Y'all are probably wondering what I am going on about. Well it's none other than then the New Physicians Formula Argan Wear Bronzer and Blush.

Physicians Formula
Bronzer and Blush

Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil Bronzer
Color in Bronzer
"Gives you an exotic bronzing glow!"

Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil Blush
Color in rose
"Gives you an excotic blushing glow!"

Applied bronzer as contour and also all over for a bronzed look.
Applied blush to the apples of cheeks for a flushed look.

Pros of both:
1. Both have very posh packaging.
2. Both are infused with 100% Argan Oil.
3. They both have an intoxicating smell.
4. The pair of them have a beautiful design. Kind of like a mosaic tile.
5. The two apply easy and smooth.
6. Each has amazing pigmentation.
7. They both last all day with minimal fading.
8. The gold over spray of both fades away and the product underneath has no sparkle but has a satin finish.

Cons of both:
1. They both have a chunky gold over spray.
2. When you first use them you will have gold glitter all over your face.

Over all I absolutely adore these two. They are beautiful in every way. The blush gives you the perfect flush and the bronzer gives you the perfect glow. Physicians Formula is always coming up with amazing and innovative products.

Have any you tried these out yet? Please let me know what yout think.

NYC BB Creme Instant Matte and BB Radiance Powder Review

Hello My Lovely Sweet Peas!! I  hope everyone is doing well this wonderful day!!

NYC has released a few new BB products for spring. I only picked up these two.
One of my favorite BB creams ever is the original NYC BB cream. I love it so much (read here) This new one is a matte version. I am an oily face mess so of course I bought it. They also came out with a new BB Radiance Powder.

I bought them at CVS for around $3.97 each.

BB Creme 5 in 1 Instant Matte

Color in 02 Medium
Multi-Action Matte Perfecting Formula That Provide 5 Different Action in 1 Quick Step:
-Provides instant mattifying coverage
-Minimizes the appearance of pores & lines
-Beautifies, smooths skin
-Minimizes the appearance of skin imperfections
Brightens skin tone for a healthy, flawless complexion

BB Radiance
Smooth Skin Perfecting Powder

Color in 011 Naturally Beige

Top: Powder
Bottom: BB Creme

This was taken right after application. It looks ok but then its all downhill after that.

This goes on fairly easy. It blends in well and does help with minimizing pores. At first you face looks a bit matte but it kind of melds with you face and it feels heavy. The coverage is very light even if you apply multiple coats. I mean you can still see every flaw.
I then set with the powder. The powder also doesn't provide a lot of coverage. It does set it but after about 3 hours my face is an oily mess. I don't just mean a little oil around my T Zone but my whole face feels gross and oily. If you do add more powder it helps for a few minutes then it just cakes up. I do love the color of this powder but thats about it.
I was hoping this BB Creme would be like the original but give me more of a matte look then dewy. Nope this is like a totally different product. As for the powder um no it is awful. I'm pretty bummed these products. Well at least I have my original NYC BB Cream and I also love their loose setting powders. Now those are amazing products!!

Well have any of you all tried these out yet? If so let me know what you think.

Thank you for reading and until next time!!

Rimmel Show Off Lip Velvet

Howdy Everyone!!

One of the biggest things right now is liquid matte lip colors. Everyone from high end to drugstore has at least one. Its the biggest thing right now since sliced bread.
So one of the first ones I am going to review is Rimmel Show Off Lip Velvet. Rimmel has a Show Me Off Lip lacquer (I reviewed here) which I love.

5 Shades

I chose the color Atomic Rose
I love the packaging. Its kind of like the Lip Lacquer but this one is matte black. I also like that when its new the neck of the tube is clear which means it has not been open. When you do open it the neck fills up with product to show you the color.
The applicator is super cool. It allows the product to pool in the middle and apply easier.

Off of website:
MATTE TO THE FUTURE! SHOW OFF LIP COLOUR NOW WITH NEW VELVETY MATTE FINISH.
Weightless liquid colour with a velvety smooth finish
Earth-shattering intense colour stays true for up to 8 hours
Moisturizing formula instantly increases lip moisture by 31%

I have tried a few liquid to matte lip colors in the past and I haven't really liked many of them. This one on the other hand is truly amazing. As soon as it touches your lips you can feel how creamy it is. Not sticky creamy but soft and velvety smooth. This also goes on very even and opaque. One swipe will give you incredible pigmentation. It doesn't quite dry totally matte it has more of a matte type finish but still kind of wet. It gives you the opportunity to apply more without it drying and clumping up on your lips. You still feel it on the lips but its very comfortable. I had a few hours of wear without a lot of fading. After it did fade, my lips felt pretty good. It didn't dry them out to bad like some of the products I'm testing at the moment so thats a plus. I have to say this is a pretty neat product and I really like it.

Have y'all tried this out yet? let me know what you think.

Thank you for reading and until next time.

Milani Color Statement Moisture Matte Lipstick

Hello My Sweet Peas!!

I am a huge fan of the original Milani Color Statement Lipsticks. Like I love them!! So when I found out they came out with a  matte version I was extremely excited. As I said before a lot of the makeup companies are coming out with a matte type lipstick. I love matte lips so I am happy about all the new matte lipsticks.

8 shades and I only picked one.

Beautiful gold packaging.

Matte Naked

Light nude brown color perfect for everyday.

One of the things I love about Milani lipsticks is the smell. I don't know why but I love the smell. Its kind of a sweet smell. I know I'm weird!!
Anyway when I first put this on I was like WOW! It just glided on to my lips ever so smoothly like butta!! This claims to be smudge proof and long wearing but I got average wear out of this nothing really long wearing. It came off with regular eating and drinking.
The only thing I didn't like about this lipstick is after it wore off it left my lips pretty dry. I can just pop on some lip balm but that kind of sucks because this is supposed to be "Moisture Lipstick!!!!" Ugh other than that I like it!!

Have y'all tried any of these yet? Let me know what your favorite colors are!!

Thank you for reading and until next!!

Jordana Modern Matte Lipstick

Howdy Everyone!!!

I always love me a good matte lipstick and as of lately everyone and their mothers has a matte type lipstick. Today I am reviewing the new Jordana Modern Matte Lipsticks. They have 12 shades but I only picked up 2.

I purchased these at Walgreens for $2.49

01 Matte Bare
02 Matte Tease

Top: Matte Bare
Bottom: Matte Tease

Matte Bare

Matte Tease

Pros:
1. Nice Smell
2. Great Packaging
3. Amazing Pigmentation
4. Excellent Staying Power

Cons:
1. Goes on kind of patchy.
2. Dries out my lips a bit.

Over all these are ok. Nothing really life changing. The colors are even just ok. They feel like repeats of other lipsticks. I don't know I'm not a huge fan of these. Maybe if I wear a balm underneath they may be a little bit softer on the lips. It did have some staying power and even stained my lips a little. I am happy I only paid $2.50 for each and not big bucks.

Have y'all tried them and if so what do you think?

Maybelline Color Sensational Rebel Bloom Lipstick in Blushing Bud

Good Day!! I hope everyone is doing amazing on this fabulous Sunday!!

Like I said a few posts back there is a ton of new stuff out right now and I mean a TON!!! The drugstore is full of new products and believe me when I say I am excited.
Maybelline recently came out with a new Color Sensational Lipsticks collection called the Rebel Bloom. This collection comes packaged in gorgeous pink packaging. These are supposed to be pastels colors for spring. They came out with 10 shades but I only picked up one.

I purchased this at Walgreens. Not sure how much this cost. I just grabbed it. Maybe around 8 bucks.

Color in Blushing Bud

Lovely light pink color.

details from Target website:
Maybelline Color Sensational Rebel Bloom lipstick. Now pastels rebel in 10 vivacious shades. A kicky boquet of lip colors in pinks, reds and mauves. Honey nectar adds a sumptuous feel Super-saturated pigments take fresh picked pastels to a new bright Never dull, washed out or shy Honey nectar adds a sumptuous fee

As soon as this touches your lips you can feel how moisturizing it is. This new formula has honey nectar in it given it a lot more moisture. I feel like it gives a lot more cushion to the lips than the regular Color Sensationals lipsticks. They can be a little drying. It glides on super smooth with out any tugging. You do have to swipe this a few times to get full blown color. This color is light on me but I really like it after all the vampy lipstick from the fall and winter I have been wearing. I got a few hours of wear but its ok because I can just reapply it because I love the way it feels on the lips. What I love most about this lipstick is after it wears off it doesn't leave my lips feeling dry and gross. It leaves them nice and soft.
Ugh I am kicking myself for not getting more. This lipstick screams spring. I know, I know I have been talking a lot about spring but I am so ready for it.

Thanks for reading everyone and until next time!!

Milani Rose Powder Blush in Coral Cove

Hello Love Bugs!!

I am a huge blush lover and now that spring is around the corner I am trying to get more blushes that are a little more bright for the season. Milani released some blush that are perfect for spring. Once again they released the very popular rose shaped blush. I reviewed one sometime ago here.

Coral Cove
Found it @ Walgreens for around $8.00.

Just look at that!! Beautiful!!

Bright coral color

This color is just to die for. Its very bright and bold. You can wear it soft or full on. It goes on super smooth and easy. I got all day wear out of this with minimal fading. This blush not only looks beautiful its also an amazing blush. I know I will wear this thing all the time this coming spring.

New Wet n Wild Fergie Around-The-Clock Blush and Velvet Matte Lip Color

Hello again my Sweet Peas!!

There is a ton of new products out right now and I do mean a ton. One of the companies that has released some new stuff is Wet N Wild. The came out with loads of new Fergie products. I only picked up one of the new blushes and one of the Velvet Matte Lip Colors.

Around-The-Clock Blush in Brush with Destiny

This blush claims to last 10 hours. I don't know if I would wear this for ten hours. It's very powdery. When you dab your brush into this prouduct you get blush everywhere. Then this shade is really light and has a bunch of shimmer. I hate blush with shimmer because it make my already large pores look even bigger. So I don't like this.

Velvet Matte Lip Color in Fashion Darling

This says that its a matte lip color but I think it has more of a satin finish. Its also on the light side. You have to really apply it to get a good color pay off. It doesn't last very long and when it does wear off it left my lips terribly dry. This lip color is ok nothing wow.

I have on both the lip color and the blush. Ugh I am not a fan of either of these products. At least they are inexpensive. I think I paid no more than 5 bucks each.

Thanks everyone for stopping by the blog and until next time!!

Tips For Oily Skin

I've had oily skin since I can remember. I always hated it growing up. I would do my makeup and a few hours later I was an oily mess.  Now that I am older and have researched and tried many a product I know what's best for my skin.

I have compiled a list for you all on skin and makeup tips for oily skin:

Skin Care:

1. Wash face- (never sleep in makeup) Its always a good idea to buy a cleanser that is formulated to your skin type. Doing this will make sure your face is getting what it needs. I also like to use my Clarisonic once a day to insure it is clean.

2. Use a toner- The number one thing you need to look for when buying a toner for oily skin is make sure its alcohol free. Alcohol can dry out your skin and in turn produce more oil.

3. Use oil free moisturizer- If you buy a product with oil in it it could clog your pores and cause a break out. Not to mention thicker moisturizers make oily skin feel gross.

4. Clay mask- Once a week I use a clay mask to draw out all my impurites and help keep my skin clear.

5. Exfoliate- I use a very mild exfoliant on days I feel that my skin is a bit dull.

Makeup:

1. Prep skin- Even though I am oily I like to prepare my skin before makeup with a light moisturizer with sunscreen. We don't want skin damage do we.

2. Prime face- I like to use something that will blur my imperfections and help with staying power. There is a ton of primers but I have to be careful because some break me out!!

3. Foundation- It depends what I am in the mood for that day I may use a BB cream or a foundation that is oil free. Another good alternative for oily skin is mineral makeup.

4. Setting powder- I always powder my foundation. No matter what I always powder. I like powders that are made to keep your face looking matte.

5. Blot- Through out the day I get oily so I don't just put more powder on my face. What I do is use blotting papers. I like to blot away the shine not add more powder so I look like a cake face.

So those are some tips I have for oily skin that have helped me. If y'all have any please share them with me.

Thank you for reading and until next time!!

L.A. Colors Gel Extreme Shine Polish

Hi Sweet Peas!! I hope everyone is staying warm and cozy!! I sure am with the help of my kitties!!

Ok so the other day I was on Instagram (like always) and I saw a pic of these new L.A. Colors Gel Polishes and had a heart attack. They looked soo beautiful. The pic said they will be at Family Dollar and I have one next to my house so you all know I got my butt up to see if they had them.
When I got there they had the display but they only had a few. I picked this one.

Color is Knockout

Um Hello look at that shine!!

This polish applied like a dream. The brush is nice and large and helps the polish glide on. No skipping or streaking. Nothing sucks more than streaky nails!! The color payoff if amazing after one coat but I did two just because. It dried really quick and it looks so shiny. I am so loving this polish. I am going to find more!!!

Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation and Powder Review

Hi lovelies!! I hope the begin of your New Year has been fabulous!!

Today I bring you a review on the new Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation and powder. Maybelline has an original formula and I hated the foundation and powder. The foundation left me oily look and the powder caked up in my pores. It was kind of strange. So of course now that they came out with this new formula for oily skin I was all over it.

I found both at CVS for around $6.99 each. Which is a really amazing price. When I first saw pics of this product I thought it was going to be a little pricey.

Claims:
Foundation
1. Mattifies and refines pores
2. Matches natural tone
3. Natural seamless finish
Powder
1. Natural poreless looking finish
2. Up to 12 hour wear
3. Long lasting shine control

I applied it without a primer all over with a brush and I automatically noticed a difference in my face. My usually large pores were disappearing right before my eyes. OMG!! My face looked great. The texture is a tiny bit thick but buffs in nicely. The coverage is medium but you can surely build it up.
I then set everything with the powder and it was amazing. It left my face not really matte but semi-matte which I like. I then went through my day and it stayed in place perfectly. By the end of the day it was a little shiny when I went to take it off but nothing bad. The only thing that irks me is that it can get a little messy. I wish it had a pump.

All in all this is my new favorite duo!!! If you have large pores and an extremely oily face like I do I highly recommend this.

Thank you for reading and until next time!!

Bite Beauty Vivid Luminous Creme Lipstick Duo

Hello and good day beautiful internet friends!!

I have been wanting to try some Bite Beauty products but I wasn't sure what I wanted to try. I saw this cute little lipstick duo on the Sephora site and thought um yes!! You get two lipsticks in one for an amazing price.

$12.00 @ Sephora
Dual ended lipstick in Violet and Palomino

I am wearing Palomino

I don't think this picture does the color an justice. These colors are so vivid and bold.
When I first touched this product to my lips I knew these were something special. They went on so smooth and creamy. No tugging, no pulling. The pigmentation is just out of this world crazy. All you need is one swipe to get an intense color pay off. But the best thing about these are the staying power. I can put this on in the morning and go about my day with little to no fading. I can just reapply a little bit which is ok because these feel so light and hydrating. The only negative is they are a little hard to take off. I mean I use wipes and removers and I still have a slight stain. I don't mind to much though.
I am so happy I took the plunge and tried this. Now I know that Bite has high quality amazing products.

Let me know what other Bite Beauty products I should try.

Thank you for reading and until next time!
