Good Morning Everyone!!

I have extremely dry hair and I'm always looking for a good shampoo and conditioner.
I was at Walmart and came across these and thought what the heck.

I paid $4.99 for each bottle @ Walmart.

What really drew me in was that they had argan oil and were repairing. I brought them home and the first thing I did was smell them and oh my they smell great. They have a fresh citrus smell. Love it!!
After the first use I knew these were special.

PROS:
  • Great price
  • Smells amazing
  • Leaves hair clean
  • Leaves hair soft
  • Does not leave buildup
  • Does not fade color
  • Helps with frizz
  • Sulfate free
  • Paraben free
  • Alcohol free

CONS:
  • NONE

I love everything about this shampoo and conditioner. It leaves my hair silky smooth and shiny.
I dye my hair a lot and this is the first product that has not left my hair faded.
My hair has never looked better.

Physicians Formula Youthful Wear Spotless Foundation

Hello Everyone!!

Today I bring y'all another foundation review. This is a new foundation from Physicians Formula that came out a few months ago.

I bought this at CVS for around $14.95

Glass Bottle

Dropper Dispenser

Ok so this is a new innovation that brings foundation and a serum in one. Its also hypoallergenic, paraben free, gluten free and non-comedogenic. The packaging says that it reduces the appearance of spots by 67%. It also says that you look 10 years younger instantly. It even has an SPF of 15 and is supposed to last 12 hours.

Alright first off I hate the packaging. It gets so messy and foundation gets everywhere. I also don't like the consistency its really watery. I kept thinking oh my goodness I'm going to put this watery mess on my face. Another thing I'm iffy about is the smell. And of course I hate the brush. Really what am I supposed to do with it its tiny.
Then I applied it and ate every bad word I had said about this. I put a few drops on a clean stainless steel palette and applied with a brush then used a sponge to buff away any brush strokes. When you blend it in it just melts into your skin. Its so lightweight that you don't feel like your wearing a mask. I know I hate when my face feels like I have a pound of product on. So naturally I have to say I am more then happy with the finish this gives me. It really covers the few dark spots I have. My face does look better after its had time to settle thought the day. I don't want to say it stays a full 12 hours but it does stay on a full day. As for looking 10 years younger well I'm not sure about all that.
Its safe to say that I think I can get over all the initial bad thoughts I had about this. I can even deal with the mess.

Has anyone seen this or tried this? What's your thoughts?

Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation

Hello my lovely readers!!!

As I said a few days ago I had a basket full of stuff and this was one of the things I had it. I bought this in early January and its just been in there collecting dust. I finally decided to try it because I had read a lot of reviews on it and thought I would see what all the hype was about.

I bought this at Walgreen's for $5.00

Pros:
  • Great price
  • Love the packaging
  • Blends in well
  • Last all day
  • Lightweight
  • Keeps face matte
  • Great coverage
  • A little goes a long way

Cons:
  • Kind of thick
  • Hard to pick out shade

Final over all thought:
I am very oily in the face so I am always looking for things that will help me stay matte. I am so happy I tried this. Its fabulous! I love the texture and how it leaves my face. It also stays all day and feels feather light. This is a little bit dark for me but I can make it work. All you need is a pea size amount to get great coverage. I like to buff it on with a buffer brush and it goes on perfect.

 Sorry for the crazy face!!

Has anyone tried this? What do you think?

Thanks for reading and until next time!!

NYC City Curls Mascara

Howdy Folks!!

I'm the first to admit that I am addicted to Instagram. I love to see what products other people use and like. I had seen someone post a pic of this mascara and of course I had to go and buy it.

I bought this at Walmart and I think I paid $2.99

Ok the first thing I like is the packaging. Its simple and cute nothing to much. Next I love the curved brush. The way the bristles are it allows to get every lash. Another thing that I'm crazy about is the formula. Its nice and thick and does not smudge, clump or flake. NYC claims that it gives you 60% lift. This stuff gives my sad lashes pretty good lift.
All I have to say is good things about this mascara. I am glad I saw this on Instagram and tried it out.

Have any of y'all tried this? What do ya think?

Maybelline Color Sensational The Buffs Lipstick in Stormy Sahara

Hello Lovely Readers!!

I had seen that Maybelline had come out with a new collection called The Buffs for their Color Sensational lipsticks. This collection is composed of 10 nude shades that range from super light to really dark. Everyone was talking about the new collection and I wasn't really interested. Until I saw the shade Stormy Sahara. I fell in love and had to run out and get it.

I got this at the grocery store for $6.00

 945 Stormy Sahara

I am so obsessed with this color. Its a peachy brown that looks fabulous on. The pigmentation is amazing and you get great color in one swipe. It doesn't last that long on me but I'm ok with that I like applying it.
This is a really thick and creamy formula but it goes on velvety smooth and feels really moisturizing.
All I have is good things to say about this lipstick. I am so ecstatic I picked this up.

Is anyone else loving The Buffs? Tell me what you think.

Milani Brilliant Shine Lip Gloss in Bare Secret

 Hello and Good Afternoon.

I am a huge Milani fanatic and their lipsticks are my favorite ever.
I don't really like to wear lip gloss to much but I had to try one of their new glosses.

I bought this a Walgreen's for around 5 bucks and some change.

Excuse the finger prints on the lid.

I love this color!
Its a brownish nude with a cream finish and looks marvelous on top of a lipstick or by it self.

For not being a gloss lover I have to say this stuff is quite impressive.
For starters it looks extremely thick and gooey but its not. It glides on super smooth with its amazing applicator. It also feels terrific on the lips and not sticky whatsoever. Best thing it has a sweet smell which we all know is a huge plus for me.

Has anyone tried this out already? If so let me know what you think and which colors you have tried.

Thank you for reading and until next time!!

NYC Expert Last Lip Color in Berry Me

Hello beautiful readers!!

In one of my earlier posts in the week I said I had a big basket of things I needed to test and review. This was one of the things in it. I think I got it a few months ago and it had just been sitting there. Anyhow I had a chance to try it and here is what I think.

Expert Last Lip Color by NYC

$1.99 at CVS

Pros:
  • $1.99
  • Goes on easily and smoothly
  • Long lasting
  • Non drying
  • Great color payoff

Cons:
  • Strange smell
  • Don't like packaging
  • Don't like that the lipstick does not go all the way down in tube

Final over all thought:
I have to say I am really liking this little lipstick. I mean whats not to like? Its inexpensive and has great pigmentation that last through out the day. This has got to be one of my new favorite lipsticks.

Have y'all tried these out yet? If so leave me your thoughts.

Thank you for reading and until next time!!

Rimmel Lasting Finish Colour Rush Intense Colour Balm in Make Me Blush

Hello Everybody!!

I love jumbo lip crayons!!
So when a new one comes out of course I have to snatch one up.

I bought this at Walmart and I don't remember how much I paid for it I think 5 bucks.

Shade 110 Make Me Blush

First off I adore the smell. It has a sweet vanilla scent that isn't to over powering. I love when products have a pleasant scent. If it stinks chances are I wont use it. The next thing I like about this is the texture. This is so light and creamy. Which is wonderful because it feels so nice and lightweight on the lips. Another thing I am loving is the color payoff. Just a few swipes and you get bold color. The best part is it has pretty good staying power.
The only iffy thing is it says its a colour balm but I don't think I would say its a balm maybe a lip color but not a balm. I don't think your lips really benefit from this. Saying that I am happy to say that this does not dry out your lips.
All in all I like it.

Have y'all seen these if so what do y'all think?

Rimmel Scandaleyes Precision Micro Eyeliner Review

Hello everyone!!

I mainly tend to use pencil liner because I hate trying to put on liquid eyeliner. I always get it everywhere so I don't really use it. One day I tried a pen type liquid liner and loved it.
I saw that Rimmel had a version so I had to buy it and see how it held up.

001 Black

Rimmel Claims:
  • Ultra-thin felt tip for flawless precise lines.
  • Long lasting ultra-black color stays put for up to 24 hours.
  • Waterproof, smudge-proof, tear-proof, sweat-proof, heat-proof, humidity-proof and scandal-proof.
When I first opened it I was super excited. I loved the tip at first glance. Then I tried it and the tip is so thin it kind of flops around. Then the product is sort of dry in consistency. I had to go over it a few times to get it dark enough. Then as for waterproof I don't think so. I have very sensitive eyes and they water a lot and this smudged pretty bad early in the day. I am not to happy with this stuff but its ok I will find a use for it.

Have you guys used it and if so what are you thoughts?

Wet N Wild Poster Child Palette

Hi guys!!

Welcome back to my blog. Some of you may have been wondering where I have been. I took some time away from my blog and YouTube channel to think about what they mean to me and if I wanted to continue them both. I have had some stuff going on and have not been very motivated to do anything with beauty or makeup. I have thought about it and I have come to the conclusion that I LOVE makeup and anything beauty related. So I am going to continue because it makes ME happy and I love it and I don't care what others think or don't think.

Ok so for today I have the Wet N Wild Poster Child 8 pan palette. I seriously have had this palette since early December just sitting around in a basket. I finally decided to bust it open and check it out.

Walgreen's 4.99
I love the 8 pan palettes from Wet N Wild. So I had to get this one to add to my collection.
No primer used to swatch.

Left side of palette.
I love the pink shadows.

Right side of palette.
I have to say I really like the teal color.

All the shadows have a nice consistency and go on pretty nice. The only thing they are a little chalky and have a bit of fallout. Other than that I love this palette. I love the brightness of the these colors and will definitely be using it this coming spring.

So has anyone one else picked this up and if so let me know what you think.

Thank you for reading and until next time!!
