Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge

Greetings all!!

I am a huge Real Techniques junkie. Their brushes are my favorite. Not one day goes by that I don't use at least one. So when I found out they were coming out with their own makeup sponge I was really excited.

3 in 1 Sponge

  • Rounded sides blend large areas of the face with a repeated dabbing or “stippling” motion.
  • Precision tip covers blemishes and imperfections.
  • Flat edge for the contours around the eyes and nose.
All the different angles and the shape is what really drew me in and of course the price.

I don't really use sponges to apply my foundation but I do own the Beauty Blender and use it sometimes. I like it, it does work wonderfully but it is pricey.
The first day I tried it I used it wet like the Beauty Blender. I was ready to throw this thing away after the first use. No where on the package did it say you can use it wet or dry. So I assumed that it would work wet. It soaked up to much product and slopped it on the face. I hated it.
I decided to not throw it away and use it dry. The sponge is very soft so it worked so much better dry. The pointy side got into every corner and made my concealer look flawless. I like the flat side because it covers more area so it takes less time to do your whole face. I have to say I like it dry.

All in all I give this a 3 out of 5

Thank you all for reading and until next time!!
