Physicians Formula Happy Booster Blush and Bronzer

Hi everyone!!

So it has been really cold the last few days and I have been doing nothing but crocheting. I love to crochet this time of year so I find my self doing nothing else but crocheting and watching Christmas movies. I have such a wild life.

Anyway a few weeks ago I was at Walmart checking out the makeup, like I always do, when I spotted this double pack of Physicians Formula. I of course had to get it because you basically bought one got one free. It was $12.99 for both and they usually run that much each.
 It was a great deal.

The packaging is stunning on both products. Who doesn't like hot pink.

Hi gals and guys!!

I love Sinful Colors! They are wonderful nail polishes for a great price. They are around $1.99 and you can always find a sale on them.
On my recent trip to Rite Aid I saw a display for Sinful Colors Glitz & Glittered Holiday Nail polishes.

Sorry its blurry!!

I liked all of the nail polishes but this one caught my eye.

Holiday Rebel

3 coats

I am crazy about this polish. It screams Christmas. It has large green and silver hex glitters with tiny fine green glitter.
This would look perfect over any solid nail polish. The possibilities are endless. I know that I will be using this all Christmas Season!!

Coastal Scents Revealed Palette

Hello and good afternoon!

Coastal Scents is one of my favorite brands.
I get emails from them whenever they have new products or when they have a sale. They sent me an email when this palette came out and I immediately ordered it for $19.95.

Off Of Website:
Expose your natural beauty with this exquisite collection of nude and metallic hues. These smooth, powdered shadows blend seamlessly to create an array of day or evening looks. The slim palette holds all twenty shadows, allowing for easy on-the-go application.

When I first got it I was a little disappointed. The packaging feels cheap and kind of thrown together. I also was upset it had no mirror. I was not happy.

I kind of left it alone for a few days.
I needed to swatch it and take pics for the blog and other things so I picked it back up to test it out.

Swatched with NO primer!!
Top Row

Bottom Row

Ok I just want to start off by saying that I don't like to ever, ever, ever admit that I am wrong, just ask my husband, but I am very wrong with judging this before I tried it. These shadows are like butter. They are all smooth and creamy and extraordinarily pigmented.
I love how there is a mix of matte, shimmery and metallic shades all in one palette.
I don't have a favorite shadow I love all of them.

I undeniably have to say this is worth way more then $19.95!!
Great deal and amazing quality.
Way to go Coastal Scents. Two thumbs way up!!

Hello ladies and gents!!

I use to not go to Sephora very often and now that I moved I go once a week. Yikes!! On one of those trips I picked up the Sephora exclusive OCC Lip Tar Mini Set. ($20.00)

I am a huge fan of Lip Tars so I had to snatch this up.
This comes in a convenient little pouch with pockets for each little Lip Tar to fit in. Perfect for travel. The set also comes with their amazing lip brush.

  Off website:

The expertly coordinated set of OCC’s most popular shades is a great new way to share your Lip Tar obsession. Whether as a gift, or for petite portability, Lip Tar: All-Star Minis is the perfect way to get your first taste of Lip Tar before building your full-size collection.

I have to say that Lip Tars are so pigmented. A little bit goes a long way. Use the little brush to get precise application.

  • Black Dahlia- Deep burgundy plum color. I love this color!! It does stain so just keep that in mind.
  • Anime- Hot neon pink. Gorgeous!
  • NSFW- Bold bright red. Gives you the perfect red lip.

Hello wonderful readers !!

I was on Ulta's website a few weeks ago and kind of stumbled upon these palettes. I fell in love with the colors but I have to admitted the price also had a lot to do with me buying them.

Each palette was $12.00 yes that's right 12 bucks each.

Nice sturdy packaging with a mirror.

Just look at these colors they are beautiful. I love the warm shimmery tones.
The lighter shades and the gold feel buttery smooth, almost creamy.
The dark chocolate brown feels kind of hard and the darkest color feels a bit softer but not like the lighter shades.

Ipsy Bag: November 2013

Hello folks!!

Today I bring you the November 2013 Ipsy Bag!! This months theme is "Glam it Up" and boy is this bag glam!!

This bag is so gorgeous!!! I am infatuated with it. Just look at the shiny gold. I love that you can use it as a wristlet and I know I will use it for a night out.

I received 6 products!! Yes 6!!

What's in the bag:
  • Nailtini Nail Polish- Ugh I am tired of nail polish. I love Ipsy but I don't use nail polish as much as I use to. I got the color Caviar Cocktail. I don't like the color. I'm not going to use it but I know someone that will enjoy it.
  • Starlooks Gem Pencil- I got the color Amethyst. Its really smooth and glides on nicely. I don't know though if this color is for me. Its a light metallic purple. It a great pencil but not for me personally.
  • em Waterliner- Ok I thought I was going to hate this but its a great eyeliner. They sent me the color in Emerald. The color is so vivid and bold. I am so crazy about this creamy texture and how easy it applies.
  • Be a Bombshell Lip Crayon- I am guilty of being a huge chubby lip pencil lover. I was excited to get this. I received the color in Shameless. Its a beautiful berry shimmer. Its light and creamy but you can definitely build it up. I like it a lot and I will use this a ton!!
  • Pixi Beauty Bronzer- The color this came in is Subtly Suntouched. The color is to light for me but its ok I will use it as a highlighter. I like it. It feels silky and smooth.
  • Kiss everEZlashes Double Pack- Holy Cow I love false lashes. When I saw that they where sending out Kiss Lashes I jumped for joy. I love this brand. I already own some of their lashes and enjoy them very much. The best thing of all is you not only get one set you get two beautiful sets. I got them in the number 01. They are full and dramatic. This also comes with glue and an applicator.
I have to say this bag was wonderful. I was very pleased and happy to get most everything. I know these products will have me very glam this holiday season!!

Julie G Silver Bells Nail Polish

Hello and Good Day!!

I have been wanting to try Julie G's nail polishes by Jesse's Girl for a long time!!!! I don't live by a Rite Aid so I haven't had the chance. Last week I was in Colorado and had the chance to stop in a Rite Aid.

I saw the display for the Frosted Gum Drops Holiday Collection and picked one up.

I wear mainly silver jewelry so I thought Silver Bells would be perfect. It says on the bottle to not use a top coat but I don't like the look of nail polish without a top coat so I put one on. This is a textured polish so you can still feel some of the texture through the top coat.

This is dazzling!! It sparkles so beautifully in the sun shine. This isn't to chunky and obnoxious but a fine silver glitter. I am just gaga over it!! I am truly over the moon that I finely got to try out one of Julie G's nail polishes!! I am defiantly going to order more on line.

Sonia Kashuk Undetectable Cream Bronzer

Good Morning!!

Recently I've been looking for a good cream product to use for contouring my face. I don't want to use a concealer or a cream foundation because I don't want cake face. I am really oily so putting a lot on my face is not ideal.

I was at Target when I came across this Undetectable Cream Bronzer by Sonia Kashuk. It retails for $10.99 for .18 oz. The packaging is stunning. Just look at the shiny gold!!

I got mine in the color Rich Bronze. They do have one other color but I chose the darker shade.
When I first put my finger in it to swatch I knew this was something special. It felt so soft and light. This bronzer just glides on so smooth and effortlessly. I applied it with a duo-fiber brush on my cheeks and forehead. You can apply this lightly or build it up for a more dramatic look. I do like a heavy contour and do use a heavy hand but it never felt sticky or thick. I love how it just melts on the face and how it has a cream to powder formula. It does live up to its name being Undetectable.
Some other good things about this are it has an SPF of 20 which is great and it has a huge mirror and a sponge under the product.
I am so in love with this!! I love how it feels, how it preforms, how it looks and how easy it is to use. I now have a new found love for cream products!!

Thank you for reading and until nest time!!

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge

Greetings all!!

I am a huge Real Techniques junkie. Their brushes are my favorite. Not one day goes by that I don't use at least one. So when I found out they were coming out with their own makeup sponge I was really excited.

3 in 1 Sponge

  • Rounded sides blend large areas of the face with a repeated dabbing or “stippling” motion.
  • Precision tip covers blemishes and imperfections.
  • Flat edge for the contours around the eyes and nose.
All the different angles and the shape is what really drew me in and of course the price.

I don't really use sponges to apply my foundation but I do own the Beauty Blender and use it sometimes. I like it, it does work wonderfully but it is pricey.
The first day I tried it I used it wet like the Beauty Blender. I was ready to throw this thing away after the first use. No where on the package did it say you can use it wet or dry. So I assumed that it would work wet. It soaked up to much product and slopped it on the face. I hated it.
I decided to not throw it away and use it dry. The sponge is very soft so it worked so much better dry. The pointy side got into every corner and made my concealer look flawless. I like the flat side because it covers more area so it takes less time to do your whole face. I have to say I like it dry.

All in all I give this a 3 out of 5

Thank you all for reading and until next time!!

Jordana Brow Powder Duo Review

Howdy Guys and Good Morning!!

So I have been MIA once again. Sorry all I have been out of town on adventures with my husband.

Taos NM
I love the snow!!

Estes Park CO and Rocky Mountain National Park
My husband is a big Stephen King fan so we went to the Stanley Hotel!!
I love the mountains!!

Today I have a review on Jordana's Brow Powder Duo.

I was at Kmart and saw it and thought hey I will try it out. I don't like to try out eyebrow products because I love the ELF Eyebrow Kit. It is my "Holy Grail" product.

 03 Dark
Comes in 4 different colors
I like the packaging its nice and small and very sturdy feeling. It comes with a small angled brush and a sponge tip dual applicator.

I have to say I was not expecting much from this. You get two powders. One dark brown and one just a tiny bit lighter. I didn't know what to think about just using powder. The ELF one has a brown wax and a powder. I have very spares brows and I use the wax to give me an outline and then I fill it in with the powder. The only thing is after a while my brows look really shiny and cakey. I hate it.
After doing some research on the Jordana Brow Powder Duo I was very intrigued.
It claims it has:
Intense Pigment
Matte Finish

When I applied it it went on with the greatest of ease and with amazing pigmentation. This went on smoother then my beloved ELF Eyebrow Kit and with better color. My brows looked unbelievable!! They always look kind of fake and overdone. This makes them look more natural and not so harsh. Since I was using a wax it made them look shiny and oily but now I'm just using this powder they look matte all day long. This stuff is awesome. I never thought I would find something better then my ELF Eyebrow Kit but I did and for $2.99.

Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes! Review

Buenos Dias Everyone!!

I have noticed that as I get older my lashes don't look as good as they use to. I mean I didn't have really thick lashes but they where ok. Now they are so sparse and sad. I use a lot of false lashes but sometimes I just want to use some mascara. I have tried my fair share of mascaras. I have a few favs but I'm always looking for that one perfect one.

I've been really into Tarte Cosmetics lately and thought I would gives this Lights, Camera Lashes Mascara a try. I bought mine at Ulta.

Cute packaging!!

Fantastic Brush!!

I have sensitive eyes so I'm always worried about what I use. Tarte is formulated without using bad stuff like sulfates, parabens, synthetic fragrances, mineral oils and more. They also use a lot of natural ingredients. This mascara has provitamin b5, olive esters, mineral pigments, rice bran wax and other goodies. Best part its a cruelty free brand!! That's one of the many reasons why I love Tarte.

This is a 4 in 1 mascara. It is suppose to lengthen, curl, give volume and condition.

Before Mascara

After Mascara

First off I love the brush. This brush can really get down into every lash and makes applying a breeze. The formula is thick and creamy and has great pigmentation. It gives great length and volume. The best part is it doesn't clump, flake or smudge but stays perfect all day. As for conditioning at the end of the day when I remove it, and it does come off pretty easy, they do look a bit plumper. I like how natural this mascara makes my lashes look. This is perfect for those days I don't want to apply false lashes but still have gorgeous lashes.

Kat Von D True Romance Eyeshadow Trio in Dreamer Review

Hi and good afternoon.

I went into Sephora a few days ago looking for a palette of neutral colors. I wanted something simple to wear with bold lips this autumn / winter. I was looking at the Kat Von D stuff and stumbled across this little trio.

Such cute packaging!!

This is exactly what I was looking for. I like this because you have a whole look in one easy little palette. This compact is perfect for travel and taking along with you anywhere. I also like that each shadow has a different finish.

The lightest color can be used as your highlight color and it has a satin finish. The middle color can be used as your lid color and its matte. The darkest color is perfect for the crease and it has a shimmer finish. You can use it lightly for a day look and darken it up for a smokey night look.

I love how these beautiful colors coordinate perfectly.

These shadows are amazing. They feel like very high quality shadows. They are nicely pigmented and glide on with no trouble. This looked lasted all day with no problem. I am very impressed with this palette. It will be my go-to palette this fall and winter. Perfect for a dark vampy lip.

I hope everyone is having wonderful lazy Sunday!!
